Carbide rods are hard alloy round rods, also known as tungsten steel rods. In short, they are tungsten steel round rods or carbide round rods. Cemented carbide is a composite material composed of a refractory metal compound (hard phase) and a bonding metal (bonding phase) produced by powder metallurgy. Cemented carbide is also called tungsten steel, which is a different local name.
